The Things That Make A House A Home

Looks like Frederiksberg is one of the best places to live, especially when it comes to families with small kids. Remember the lovely loft space of Ida and Jesper I wrote about a few weeks ago? It is still on my top list and now I am showing you another lovely home in the same area.

It is a beautiful villa, home to a couple with two children, one of them a tiny baby. The entire space has undergone a renovation and now they have a new kitchen and a completely new bathroom installed.

Most probably it took long years to collect all the exclusive pieces they have decorated their home with. They make it so personal and elegant at the same time. The focal point of the living room is an evergreen classic, the Mayor sofa by Arne Jacobsen, alongside another comfy classic, bearing the signature of the same designer. Lots of plants all over the place make the interiors so lively and fresh. The white and brass table lamp, the book pile with a pair of glasses and the plant on the windowsill together form such a nice still life.

Every single corner of this home is very carefully composed and every piece of furniture or decorative detail is very much loved. A wall in the dining area is dedicated to a display of pictures of the members of the family, nice memories of happy moments spent together. Let’s take the tour.
