The Spanish Chair Is 60 Years Old

Earlier this week I took a walk in town and after a few hours I was just about to head to the bus station, when I noticed the chair in the shop window of a popular design store in Kristiansand. Yes, THE CHAIR. My favourite piece that I have been dreaming about for quite a while. I could even make do with a used one. Have you guessed what I am talking about here? The iconic Spanish Chair by Børge Mogensen, the designer of people’s furniture.
This year this evergreen piece is celebrating 60 years of existence and in honor of this nice round anniversary, Fredericia is presenting a really unique version of this comfy lounge chair: the same comfort, the same wonderful oak, the same saddle leather, though this time in a dreamy olive green. Wow, I love it!
