Cycling along the Norwegian coastline is a real treat. Nevertheless, a few days ago I was lucky enough to be taken on a wonderful boat trip in the summer sunset out to one of the most romantic places in the so-called Kjærgården.
We’re in the south of Norway and this summer seems to be one of the hottest and driest ever in the history of this country. An extremely dry weather like this is not always the best and this year especially it is causing a lot of trouble on our old continent. There are extensive forest fires all over Northern Europe and it nearly impossible to kill them.
But let’s look at the bright side of hot summer nights and enjoy the relaxing view of the beautiful Isefjærfjorden with pretty summer cabins. The fjord is one of the warmest in Norway, with a special microclimate and stretches deep into the mainland.
