That Evergreen Sinnerlig Pendant

Sundbyberg is a friendly town north of Stockholm and it is also the home of a Swedish actress Petra Mede. She owns this fabulous, spacious and light-flooded apartment in the town centre, though her home is now up for sale.

She tends to combine different styles throughout the interior, yet this combination of industrial and bohemian results in a happy, cozy and welcoming space.

Luckily, the height of the apartment is very generous, allowing the presence of the beautiful Sinnerlig pendant from Ikea – still one of my favourites -, which can thus be the centrepiece of the living-dining area, adding warmth to it, alongside the stunning greenery and the elegant golden coffee table.

Apart from the colourful and quite richly decorated living and dining space, the rest of the rooms are clutter-free and functional, giving ample space for recreation and regeneration.

The interior is basically white and the open shelving units in the kitchen and the living room add extra lightness and spaciousness to this home. Let’s take the tour.

Those dining chairs are absolutely stunning. Somebody please tell me where do they come from.

The simple, cool home office space blends into the space, yet the stylish decor adds a personal touch to it. Love the wall art.

The good old Ivar shelving system from Ikea is a Scandinavian evergreen.

Nearly everything comes from the Swedish furniture giant.

Nice view of the dining corner from the end of the kitchen.
