Pastels And Vintage Pieces In A Swedish Home

It’s Monday. I look out the window and all I see is rain pouring. It has been like this all day. And that makes me sooooo sleepy. I started googling the Internet for some refreshment and look what I’ve discovered: the inviting and colourful home of Karolina and Erik. Originally they come from the west coast of Sweden, but this apartment is in one of the best areas of Stockholm, in Södermalm. The building itself dates back to the turn of the twentieth century, with lots of original features, such as the wood panelling.

The apartment is first of all filled with light and joy and pretty pastels, vintage pieces. Note the beautiful Chesterfield sofa in the corner of the living room, the white greenhouse or the vintage dining table. Let’s take the tour.

You can source planters similar to the ones on the windowsill from here.

The GLOW pendant from House Doctor looks similar.
