Lots And Lots And Lots Of Wall Art

The home of Maria Appeldorn Sjö is a real art gallery. She and her two children own a 140 sqm brand new apartment in the popular Nordhavn area of Copenhagen. As I took the virtual tour of the apartment, I realized there was no empty space left on the walls, she has a fantastic art display even in the bathroom! And I like it. Lithography, old posters everywhere add an artsy, yet personal touch to the interior. The furniture she has chosen to decorate their home consists of very simple, but carefully selected pieces, like the Folkestol designed by Børge Mogensen. This delicate mix of modern and retro with a hint of boho chic and the entire apartment flooded by light is such a welcoming space, don’t you think?
