Exciting Grey

What a nice, balmy Sunday evening we have here. Sitting on the terrace and sipping a glass of fine wine is the best thing one can do on such a night. It is very interesting the way the colours of the outdoors change as the sun goes down, step by step yellow, greens, reds, purples and browns all change to darker shades then in one second everything becomes greyish. Speaking of grey, don’t you think it’s one of the best neutrals? This year Pantone came out with a new shade: grey and beige mixed and the result is greige. Beautiful! These colours are a must in every interior. They provide the calmness, the neutral backdrop against bright colours. Grey walls, doors, kitchen cabinets and so on. Nevertheless, sometimes grey plays the lead role in an interior, in the form of an elegant sofa, a chair, a chest of drawers, a beautiful glass cabinet or a stunning painting by a Danish artist from the Skagen Painters Colony.
