Detour Café – Scandi Style In Dundas

Let’s go overseas!

Months ago on the blog I showed you the lovely Lake Huron weekend cabin of John Baker and Juli Daoust Baker, owners of Toronto-based Mjölk. This time let’s take a sneak peak into Detour café in Dundas, Ontario, designed by the couple and opened in 2011. It is a “shoppable restaurant”, actually a remodeling of a popular place in Dundas. Shoppable in the sense that many of the beautiful and pretty décor items can be purchased basically immediately and directly from the Mjölk store. Do you smell coffee and freshly baked bread?

Photography made by Juli Daoust Baker and sourced from Remodelista.
