Beautiful Danish Cottage In Monochrome

Hello again. Hope everything is good over there. I woke up to another hot hot hot summer morning and have to admit that it gets a bit too much, the weather forecast says temperatures will rise to around 38 degrees in the coming days. I am thinking of cooler places and actually looking forward to my summer vacation.

Speaking of cool, here’s what I chanced upon a few days back: a lovely cottage in Odense, Denmark, a real treasure in monochrome. Love the simplicity of Nordic houses and this one here is such a good example of the pared-back lifestyle those lucky folks lead. Black and white décor everywhere, with an elegant touch of exotic here and there. Note the poufs, ceramic tiles on the wall behind the stove and the beautiful Moroccan style decoration in the dining area. Love it. So calm, so serene, so hygge. Maybe I should copy that. Let’s go see it:
