I think it’s time to drop the topic of cycling for a while. And let’s talk interior design again. I can’t wait to share this lovely Norwegian home with you today. There is so much inspiration out there, that ideas and links to articles and websites are standing in long queues in my mind, waiting to be processed and put in writing.
The owners of this beautiful home I am about to show you today, are a family of six, who decided to leave behind the hustle and bustle of Oslo and find peace, quiet and – above all – tranquility and slow living in the lovely seaside town of Stavern, not far from Larvik – home of one of the best handball teams ever -, and still not very far from the Oslo fjord.
The aim was to spend more quality time together, focus on what’s most important in life, which actually might have a better long-term effect on managing the interior design business the mistress of the house has.
I will let the nice pictures speak for me, all I wish to add, that is it very spacious, filled with light and beautiful, tastefully selected exquisite pieces, Danish designer furniture – take a look at my all-time favourite in the living room, the Spanish Chair designed by Børge Mogensen -, soft rugs and an inviting hall that I love most. Shall we take the tour?
