A Heartwarming Cottage In The German Countryside

Who says every house or home must be renovated? Thanks to Remodelista and the wonderful site of Anne Schwalbe, owner of this estate, I can treat you today with another lovely spot.

The village is hidden somewhere between Berlin and Hamburg, a quiet place, it must be heaven on earth, a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Love the way nearly everything in and around the house remained untouched, unaltered, keeping the charm of this old building and bringing us back to hopefully old and peaceful times. A fairy tale place to spend the weekend. Let’s take the tour.

Can you too smell those roses?

I’ve got to get Anne”s photography book, maybe this way I can contribute to her restoration work. Dear Anne, do you really have to restore your pretty house? 🙂
