A Fashion Designer’s Relaxed Summer House On Ekerö

Hey there,
I have no more excuses now. I have been absent for so many days, that now I know I must come up with a good story, whereas not too much has been going on in my life recently, I mean, not too much to share. 🙂
Instead, I’ll show you something a lot more interesting.
Sought-after Swedish fashion designer Rasmus Wingårdh has an idyllic summer cottage on Göholmen, in the municipality of Ekerö.

The cabin has the features typical to the area: traditionally falurött (rusty red) on the outside, whitewashed details and a beautiful old Swedish floor inside. Wall art, carefully selected pieces and lots of space, because the owner likes to receive guests on a regular basis, he even started a dining club, called The Neo Hedonistic Collective – I like the name).

The Russian Matrjoska dolls on the round table in the living area remind me of my childhood. I used to have a complete set of seven, my dad brought them from Russia. A lovely memory …
