Tiny houses are gaining ground more than ever. We’re downsizing, minimizing, recycling, upcycling, reducing waste, minimizing our carbon footprint and doing our best to protect nature in different ways.
In the summer of 2010, young Finnish designer – in my opinion “Renaissance Man” – Robin Falck found a spot in the beautiful forest and embarked on this fantastic project: he built the tiny NIDO cabin (bird’s nest in Italian) all by himself, in two weeks.
It is a perfect getaway place, a haven for relaxation, in perfect union with nature, downstairs with a lounge area and a tiny kitchen and upstairs the sleeping and storage space. A comfy terrace is attached to the cabin for outdoor relaxation and cooking/grilling.
Let’s see it.
I’d really love to have a place like this.
Via Mr. Falck.
